Private Law 87-174 AN ACT For the relief of Georgia Ellen Thomason.
August 31, 1961 [S. 1347]
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That, for the purposes of sections 101(a) (27)(A) and 205 of the Immigration and Nationality Act, the minor child, Georgia Ellen Thomason, shall be held and considered to be the natural-born alien child of Mr. and Mrs. Kaymond Thomason, citizens of the United States: Provided, That no natural parent of Georgia Ellen Thomason, by virtue of such parentage, shall be accorded any right, privilege, or status under the Immigration and Nationality Act. Shim Dong Nyu (Kim Christine May), shall be held and considered to be the natural-born alien child of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin L. May, citizens of the United States: Provided, That the natural parents of the said Shim Dong Nyu (Kim Christine May) shall not, by virtue of such parentage, be accorded any right, privilege, or status under the Immigration and Nationality Act. Upon the granting of permanent residence to such aliens as provided for in this Act, the Secretary of State shall instruct the proper quota-control officer to deduct the required numbers from the appropriate quota for the first year that such quota is available.
