Private Law 87-598 AN ACT For the relief of Robert J. Scanlan.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled. That Robert J. Scan- Robert j. Ian, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, is hereby relieved of all liability scanian. for repayment to the United States of the sum of $2,199.60, representing unauthorized payments of per diem which he received as a Sergeant First Class, United States Army, for the period from December 1, 1953, to October 31, 1954, while he was serving on active duty at Tsuchiura, Honshu, Japan, such payments having been made as a result of administrative error. SEC. 2. The Secretary of the Treasury is authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to the said Robert J. Scanlan, the sum of any amounts received or withheld from him on account of the payments referred to in the first section of this Act. Approved October 10, 1962.

Private Law 87-599 AN ACT For the relief of Karl Heinz Agar.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That, in the administration of the Immigration and Nationality Act, Karl Heinz Agar shall be deemed to be within the purview of section 323 of that Act. Approved October 10, 1962.
