Subsection 183 a. of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as 42 USC 2233. amended, is deleted. SEC. 19. Section 184 of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended, 42 USC 2234. is amended by adding the words "or special nuclear material," after "other lien upon any facility" in the second sentence; and by deleting the word "property in the second sentence and substituting the word "facility" m lieu thereof. SEC. 20. Nothing in this Act shall be deemed to diminish existing authority of the United States, or of the Atomic Energy Commission 68 Stat. 9 19. under the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended, to regulate source, 42 USC 2011 byproduct, and special nuclear material and production and utilization note facilities, or to control such materials and facilities exported from the United States by imposition of governmental guarantees and security safeguards with respect thereto, in order to assure the common defense and security and to protect the health and safety of the public, or to reduce the responsibility of the Atomic Energy Commission to achieve such objectives. SEC. 21. This Act may be cited as the "Private Ownership of Spe- Short title. cial Nuclear Materials Act." Approved August 26, 1964. Public Law 88-490 AN ACT To amend section 41(H) of the Trading With the Enemy Act. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That section 41(a) of the Trading With the Enemy Act (50 U.S.C. App. 42 (a)), as added thereto by section 206 of the Act of October 22, 1962 (76 Stat. 1115), is amended by— (1) striking out in the first sentence thereof the words "report to the Congress concerning", and inserting in lieu thereof the words "render judgment upon"; (2) striking out in the second sentence thereof the words "one year after the date of the enactment of this Act", and inserting m lieu thereof the words "two years after the date of enactment of this section".
