which result from the enax3tment of this title shall be held and considered to be effective as of the date of enactment of this Act. SEC. 205. (a) Except as provided in subsection (b) of this section. Effective date. this title and the amendments made by this title shall take effect on Julv 1, 1966. (b) Paragraph 2 of section 7(a) of the District of Columbia Teachers Salary Act of 1955 (as added by paragraph (5) of section 202 of this title) shall take effect with respect to appointments made ^'e, p. 1599 by the Board of Education of the District of Columbia after July 1, 1965.
