To extend the Defense Production Act of 1950, and for other purposes.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Defense ProducUnited/States of America in Cofigress assembled, That section 717(B,) ^ of the Defense Production Act of 1950 is amended by striking out amrnctaent. "June 30, 1966" in the first sentence and inserting in lieu thereof ^s Stat. 235. "June 30, 1968". 2i66" SEC. 2. Section 712(e) of the Defense Production Act of 1950 is 70 Stat. 409. amended to read as follows: 216°.^^^ ^^^' "(e) The expenses of the committee under this section, which shall not exceed $85,000 in any fiscal year, shall be paid from the contingent fund of the House of Representatives upon vouchers signed by the chairman or vice chairman." Approved June 30, 1966.

Public Law 89-483 AN ACT To amend the provisions of title III of the Federal Civil Defense Act of 1950, as amended.

A p p. 2297), is further amended by striking out the date "June 30, 1966" and yg^stVn"'*' inserting in lieu thereof the date "June 30, 1970". Approved June 30, 1966.
