The areas described aggregate 58.4375 acres. Beginning at the northwest corner of section 1, township 20 north, range 20 west, principal meridian, Montana. Thence from the initial point, east along north line of said section 1,660 feet, south 0 degrees 01 minutes east, 396 feet, west 660 feet, north 0 degrees 01 minutes west, 396 feet, to the point of beginning. The area described contains 6 acres, more or less. Township 22 north, range 24 west, section 33, southeast quarter southeast quarter. The area described contains 40 acres. Township 21 north, range 20 west, section 11, east half southeast quarter northeast quarter, section 12, northeast quarter northwest quarter, southwest quarter northwest quarter, south half northwest quarter northwest quarter, northeast quarter northwest quarter northwest quarter, south half northw^est quarter northwest quarter northwest quarter, northeast quarter northwest quarter northwest quarter northwest quarter. The areas described aggregate 137.5 acres. Township 16 north, range 19 west, section 16, west half east half southwest quarter, northwest quarter southwest quarter. The area described contains 80 acres. Beginning at the southwest corner of section 16, township 16 north, range 19 west, from the initial point— north 0 degrees 02 minutes west 1,320 feet, east 1,317.36 feet, south 0 degrees 02 minutes east 528 feet, west 462 feet, south 0 degrees 22 minutes east, 792 feet, west 857.34 feet, along section line to point of beginning, excepting east half northwest quarter northeast quarter southwest quarter southwest quarter and west half west half northeast quarter northeast quarter southwest quarter southwest quarter section 16, township 16 north, range 19 west. The area described contains 29.725 acres, more or less. The areas of the tracts listed above aggregate 486.8625 acres, more or less. SEC. 2. This Act shall become effective when the Tribal Council of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes by resolution accepts the transfer of the property involved. SEC. 3. The Indian Claims Commission is directed to determine in accordance with the provisions of section 2 of the Act of August 13, 1946 (60 Stat. 1050), the extent to which the value of the title conveyed by this Act should or should not be set off against any claim against the United States determined by the Commission. The Court of Claims is directed to make the same determination in connection with any claim against the United States adjudicated by it. Approved August 1, 1966.
