Private Law 89-429 AN ACT
November 2, 1966 [H. R. 14864]
For the relief of certain individuals.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That each individual or estate named in section 2 of this Act is relieved of liability to pay to the United States the amount set forth opposite his name in such section. Such amounts represent overpayments of compensation made as a result of administrative error to such individuals while they were employed at the Charleston Naval Shipyard, Charleston, South Carolina. I n the audit and settlement of the accounts of any certifying or disbursing officer of the United States, credit shall be given for amounts for which liability is relieved by this section. SEC. 2. The names of each individual or estate referred to in the first section of this Act, the amount of overpayment made to each individual, and the period during which the overpayments were made, are as follows: Employee
