Appropriations for the National Park Service shall be available for the purchase of not to exceed one hundred and thirty-five passenger motor vehicles of which one hundred and eleven shall be for replacement only, including not to exceed seventy-nine for police-type use which may exceed by $300 each the general purchase price limitation for the current fiscal year. For expenses necessary to carry out provisions of the Act of July 3, 1952, as amended.(42 U.S.C. 1951-1958), authorizing studies of the conversion of saline water for beneficial consumptive uses, to remain available until expended, $7,500,000, of which not to exceed $1,550,000, shall be available for administration and coordination during the current fiscal year.
