continuation of payment of benefits as provided for under the head "Civilian W a r Benefits" in the Federal Security Agency Appropriation Act, 1947; the advancement of costs for enforcement of recoveries ^° s*^*- ^9^in third-party cases; the furnishing of medical and hospital services and supplies, treatment, and funeral and burial expenses, including transportation and other expenses incidental to such services, treatment, and burial, for such enrollees of the Civilian Conservation Corps as were certified by the Director of such Corps as receiving hospital services and treatment at Government expense on June 30, 1943, and who are not otherwise entitled thereto as civilian employees of the United States, and the limitations and authority formerly provided by the Act of September 7, 1916, 48 Stat. 351, as amended, shall f ^^c' 742. s apply in providing such services, treatment, and expenses in such cases et 5 s u q.e 8101 e and for payments pursuant to sections 4(c) and 5(f) of the W a r Claims Act of 1948 (50 U.S.C. For necessary administrative expenses, $5,408,000, together with not to exceed $68,000 to be derived from the fund created by section 44 of the Longshoremen's and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act, as amended (33 U.S.C. 944). BUREAU OF LABOR STATISTICS SALARIES AND EXPENSES

For expenses, not otherwise provided for, necessary for the work of the Bureau of Labor Statistics, including advances or reimbursement to State, Federal, and local agencies and their employees for services rendered, $20,933,000. BUREAU OF INTERNATIONAL LABOR AFFAIRS SALARIES AND EXPENSES

For expenses necessary for the conduct of international labor affairs, $1,348,000. SPECIAL FOREIGN

CURRENCY

PROGRAM

For payments in foreign currencies which the Treasury Department determines to be excess to the normal requirements of the United States, for necessary expenses of the Bureau of International Labor Affairs, as authorized by law, $75,000, to remain available until expended: Provided, That this appropriation shall be available, in addition to other appropriations to such agency for payments in the foregoing currencies. OFFICE OF THE SOLICITOR SALARIES AND EXPENSES

For expenses necessary for the Office of the Solicitor, $5,741,000, together with not to exceed $144,000 to be derived from the Employment Security Administration account. Unemployment Trust Fund.
