Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes, Okla. Land conveyance.

Nonexemption to taxation.

AN ACT To convey certain fedeniliy owned lands to the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes of Olvlahoma.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of RepresentatU'en of the United States of Amenca In Congress assembled, That, all right, title, and interest of the Ignited States in and to the following described land, and improvements thereon, are hereby conveyed to the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes of Oklahoma: All of the northwest quarter.section 18, township 12 north, range 16 west, Indian meridian, Custer County, State of Oklahoma, except approximately thirty-one and twenty-five-hundredths acres located in the easterly part of the east half northwest (quarter described as follows: Beginning at a point 259 feet west of the northeast corner of the east half northwest quarter section 18, township 12 north, range 16 west, thence west along the north section line of said section 18 for a distance of 426 feet; thence south 1 degree 20 minutes west for a distance of 1,487 feet; thence south 88 degrees 20 minutes east for a distance of 284 feet; then south 0 degree 50 minutes west for a distance of 987.5 feet; thence south 42 degrees 54 minutes west for a distance of 223.9 feet to the east-west quarter section line of said section 18; thence east along said quarter section line for a distance of 570 feet to the southeast corner of said northwest quarter of section 18; thence north 0 degree 43 minutes east along the north-south quarter section line for a distance of 2,315 feet; thence west for a distance of 259 feet; thence north 0 degree 43 minutes east for a distance of 325 feet to the point of beginning. SEC. 2. The title of the tribes to the land conveyed pursuant to this Act shall be subject to no exemption from taxation or restriction on use, management, or disposition because of Indian ownership. SEC. 3. This conveyance is subject to existing rights-of-way for waterlines, electric transmission lines, roads, and railroads. SEC. 4. The Indian Claims Commission is directed to determine, in accordance with the provisions of section 2 of the Act of August 13, 1946 (60 Stat. 1050), the extent to which the value of the title conveyed by this Act should or should not be set of against any claim against the United States determined by the Commission. AN ACT To amend the repayment contract with the Foss Reservoir Master Conservancy District, and for other puriKises.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior is authorized to conduct feasibility studies in the areas serving the Foss Reservoir Master Conservancy District to determine alternative water sources and the most practicable and feasible methods of alleviating the problems associated with the poor quality and supply of water stored m Foss Reservoir, Washita River Basin project, Oklahoma.
