SPECIAL INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITIONS
For an additional amount for "Special international exhibitions", for United States participation in the World Exposition to be held in (3saka, Japan, in 1970, as authorized by the Mutual Educational and Cultural Exchange Act of 1961, as amended (22 U.S.C. 2451 et seq.), including not to exceed $15,000 for official reception and representation expenses, to remain available until expended, $9,307,000, of which $1,431,000 shall be derived by transfer from the amount reserved under the appropriation available to the United States Information Agency for "Salaries and expenses", pursuant to Public Law 90-218: Provided, That not less than fifty per centum of the amount appropriated herein shall be paid in Japanese yen accrued under the Settlement on Post W a r Economic Assistance between the United States and Japan, dated January 9, 1962: Provided further, That this appropriation shall be available without regard to 5 U.S.C. 3108.
