Division of Expenses The sums appropriated in this title for the District of Columbia shall, unless otherwise specifically provided for, be paid out of the general fund of the District of Columbia as defined in the District of Columbia Appropriation Act, 1968.

TITLE III GENERAL PROVISIONS SEC. 301. Except where specifically increased or decreased elsewhere in this Act, the restrictions contained within appropriations, or provisions affecting appropriations or other funds, available during the fiscal year 1968, limiting the amounts which may be expended for personal.services, or for purposes involving personal services, or amounts which may be transferred between appropriations or authorizations available for or involving such services, are hereby increased to the extent necessary to meet increased pay costs authorized by or pursuant to law. SEC. 302. Title II of the Act of December 18, 1967 (Public Law 90-218), shall not apply to the obligational authority provided in *' ^'^*- ^^2. this Act. SEC. 303. (a) Any appropriation for the fiscal year 1969 required to ^j"^J-a^^^^^f be apportioned pursuant to section 3679 of the Revised Statutes, as creases.^^^ '" amended, may be apportioned on a basis indicating the need (to the 3i use ees. extent any such increases cannot be absorbed within available appropriations) for a supplemental or deficiency estimate of appropriation to the extent necessary to permit payment of such pay increases as may be granted to civilian employees under the provisions of section 212 of Public Law 90-206, and to military personnel under the pro- ^i Stat. 634, visions of section 8 of Public Law 90-207. (b) The amounts of all temporary appropriations hereafter made for continuing projects or activities in the fiscal year 1969 in advance of final enactment of appropriations therefor, are authorized to be increased to the extent necessary to permit payment of salaries at rates authorized pursuant to section 212 of Public Law 90-206 and section 8 of Public Law 90-207. SEC. 304. No part of any appropriation contained in this Act shall remain available for obligation beyond the current fiscal year unless expressly so provided herein. Approved July 9, 1968.
