CONTRIBUTION

To enable the Department of Housing and Urban Development to pay the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, as part of the Federal contribution toward expenses necessary to design, engineer, construct, and equip a rail rapid transit system, as authorized by the National Capital Transportation Act of 1965, as amended (79 Stat. 663; 80 Stat. 1352; 81 Stat. 670), including acquisition of rightsof-way, land and interests therein, $43,772,000, to remain available until expended. SEC. 201. The per diem rate paid from appropriations made available under this title for services as authorized by 5 U.S.C. 3109 or other law, shall not exceed $92. TITLE III—GENERAL PROVISIONS SEC. 301. No part of any appropriation contained in this Act shall remain available for obligation beyond the current fiscal year unless expressly so provided herein.
