(b) Trailer court facilities— (1) The Department of the Navy, fifty spaces, $150,000. (2) The Department of the Air Force, three hundred eightynine spaces, $1,050,000. SEC. 502. Authorization for the construction of family housing pro- "j""^"^^ "'"^" vided in this Act shall be subject, under such regulations as the Secretary of Defense may prescribe, to the following limitations on cost, which shall include shades, screens, ranges, refrigerators, and all other installed equipment and fixtures: (a) The average unit cost for each military department for all units of family housing constructed in the United States (other than Hawaii and Alaska) and Puerto Rico shall not exceed $23,000 including the cost of the family unit and the proportionate costs of land acquisition, site preparation, and installation of utilities. (b) No family housing unit in the areas listed in subsection (a) shall be constructed at a total cost exceeding $40,000 including the cost of the family unit and the proportionate costs of land acquisition, site preparation, and installation of utilities. (c) When family housing units are constructed in areas other than those listed in subsection (a) the average cost of all such units shall not exceed $32,000 and in no event shall the cost of any unit exceed $40,000. The cost limitations of this subsection shall include the cost of the family unit and the proportionate costs of land acquisition, site preparation, and installation of utilities. Fort Leaven(d) Construction at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, of units which were worth, Kans> authorized by Public Law 89-188 (79 Stat. 793) or 90-110 (81 Stat. 279), shall not be. subject to the cost limitations of subsection (a) of this section or to the cost limitations contained in prior Military Construction Authorization Acts, but the average cost of such units shall not exceed $26,000 including the cost of the family unit and the proportionate costs of land acquisition, site preparation, and installation of utilities. SEC. 503. Notwithstanding the limitations contained in prior Mill- rovisToni!"^ tary Construction Authorization Acts on cost of construction of family housing, the limitations contained in section 502 of this Act shall apply
