RemJved by the House of Representatives {the Senate co'iicurrlng), That, SECTION 1. With the permission of the copyright owner of the book, Our American Government and How I t Works: 1001 Questions and Answers, by Wright Patman, Member of Congress, published by l^antam Books, Incorporated, there shall be printed as a House document, as soon as practicable, for maximum usefulness to Members of the Ninety-second Congress, with emendations, the pamphlet, entitled "Our American Government. What Is I t? How Does I t Function? and there shall be printed nine hundred and eighty-one thousand additional copies of such document, of which one hundred and three thousand copies shall be for the use of the Senate, and eight hundred and seventy-eight thousand copies shall be for the use of the House of Representatives. SEC. 2. Copies of such document shall be prorated to Members of the Senate and House of Representatives for a period of sixty days, after which the unused balance shall revert to the respective Senate and House document rooms. Resolved by the Senate {the House of Representatives concurring)^ That notwithstanding the sine die adjournment of the two Houses, the Speaker of the House of Representatives and the President of the Senate, the President pro tempore, or the Acting President pro tempore be, and they are hereby, authorized to sign enrolled bills and joint resolutions duly passed by the two Houses and found truly enrolled. Agreed to January 2, 1971.
