Public Law 93-38 JOINT RESOLUTION To amend section 1319 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 to increase the limitation on the face amount of flood insurance coverage authorized to be outstanding. Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That section 1319 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 is amended by striking out "$4,000,000,000" and inserting in lieu thereof "$6,000,000,000". Approved June 5, 1973.

Public Law 93-39 AN ACT To permit immediate retirement of certain Federal employees. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That section 8336(d) of title 5, United States Code, is amended to read as follows: " (d) An employee who is separated from the service— "(1) involuntarily, except by removal for cause on charges of misconduct or delinquency; or "(2) voluntarily, during a period when the agency in which he is employed is undergoing a major reduction in force, as determined by the Commission, and who is serving in such geographic areas as may be designated by the Commission; after completing 25 years of service or after becoming 50 years of age and completing 20 years of service is entitled to a reduced annuity.". Approved June 12, 1973.
