To amend title VII of the Older Americans Act relating to the nutrition pro- ———— gram for the elderly to provide authorization of appropriations, and for other purposes.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the first sentence of section 708 of the Older Americans Act is amended by striking out the word "and" before "$150,000,000" and by inserting before the period a comma and the following: "$150,000,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1975, $200,000,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1976, and $250,000,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1977". SEC. 2. (a) Section 201(a) of the Older Americans Act (42 U.S.C. 3011) is amended by striking out everything in such section that follows the word "Commissioner" the second time it appears in the fourth sentence of such section and inserting in lieu thereof a period. (b) Any delegation of the functions of the Commissioner on Aging in effect on the date of enactment of this Act, issued pursuant to section 201(a) of such Act, shall be modified by the Commissioner to comply with the provisions of the amendment made by this section. SEC. 3. Title III of the Older Americans Act of 1965 (42 U.S.C. 3021ff.) is amended by adding the following new section:

"TRANSPORTATION PROJECTS

"SEC. 309. (a) There are authorized to be appropriated $35,000,000 ^j'^usc's^'S for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1975, to carry out the purposes of this section.
