CONCURRENT RESOLUTIONS-MAR. 13, 1974

Budgeting, Management and Expenditures, of the Senate Committee on Government Operations, be printed with illustrations as a Senate document; and that there be printed five thousand additional copies of such document for the use of that committee. Agreed to March 4, 1974.

"CONFIDENCE AND CONCERN: CITIZENS VIEW AMERICAN GOVERNMENT--A SURVEY OF PUBLIC ATTITUDES"

Resolved by the Senate {the House of Representatives concurring), That there be printed for the use of the Senate Committee on Government Operations two thousand additional copies of part I of its committee print entitled "Confidence and Concern: Citizens View American Government—A Survey of Public Attitudes", dated December 3, 1973. Agreed to March 4, 1974.

J. EDGAR HOOVER-TRIBUTES

Resolved by the Senate {the House of Representatives concurring), That there be printed with an illustration as a Senate document a compilation of materials eulogizing the late J. Edgar Hoover, including: memorial tributes in the Congress; the eulogy by Warren E. Burger, Chief Justice of the United States, in the Rotunda of the United States Capitol on May 3, 1972; the funeral services for Mr. Hoover at the National Presbyterian Church, Washington, District of Columbia, including the eulogy by President Richard M. Nixon and the tribute by the Reverend Edward L. R. Elson, Chaplain of the United States Senate; and various articles and editorials relating to the life and work of J. Edgar Hoover and his contributions to the well-being of the American people. SEC. 2. There shall be printed five thousand five hundred and fifty additional copies of the document authorized by section 1 of this concurrent resolution, of whicli four thousand four hundred and twenty shall be for the use of the House of Representatives, one thousand thirty shall be for the use of the United States Senate, and one hundred shall be for the use of the Senate Committee on the Judiciary. SEC. 3. The copy of such document shall be prepared under the direction of the Joint Committee on Printing, and the document shall be printed and bound in the format currently used for memorial tributes to deceased Members of Congress. Agreed to March 4, 1974.
