TITLE III — FEDERAL WATER POLLUTION CONTROL ACT AMENDMENTS SEC. 301. There is authorized to be appropriated to carry out title II of the Federal Water Pollution Control Act, other than sections 206, 208, and 209, for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1977, not to exceed $700,000,000 which sum (subject to such amounts as are provided in appropriation Acts) shall be allotted to each State listed in column 1 of table IV contained in House Public Works and Transportation Committee Print numbered 94-25 in accordance with the percentages provided for such State (if any) in column 5 of such table. The sum authorized by this section shall be in addition to, and not in lieu of, any funds otherwise authorized to carry out such title during such fiscal year. Any sums allotted to a State under this section shall be available until expended. CARL ALBERT
