Public Law 94-264 94th Congress An Act To name the building knovvn as the Library of Congress Annex to be the Library of Congress Thomas Jefferson Building.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of Amenca in Congress assembled, That the building in the block bounded by East Capitol Street, Second Street Southeast, Third Street Southeast, and Pennsylvania Avenue Southeast, in the District of Columbia (commonly known as the Library of Congress Annex), shall hereafter be known and designated as the "Library of Congress Thomas Jefferson Building". Any reference in a law, map, regulation, document, record, or other paper of the United States to such building shall be held to be a reference to the Library of Congress Thomas Jefferson Building. Approved April 13, 1976.
