Any independent expenditure, including those described in subsection (b)(13), of $1,000 or more made after the fifteenth day, but more than 24 hours, before any election shall be reported within 24 hours of such independent expenditure. SEC. 105. Title III of the Act (2 U.S.C. 431 et seq.) is amended by striking out section 308 thereof (2 U.S.C. 437a) and by redesi^ating section 309 through section 321 as section 308 through section 320, 2 USC 437b-439c, 441. respectively. CAMPAIGN DEPOSITORIES

SEC. 106. The second sentence of section 308(a)(1) of the Act (2 U.S.C. 437b(a)(l)), as redesignated by section 105, is amended by striking out "a checking account" and inserting in lieu thereof the following: "a single checking account and such other accounts as the committee determines to maintain at its discretion". SEC. 107. (a) Section 310(a) of the Act (2 U.S.C. 437d(a)), as redesignated by section 105, is amended— (1) in paragraph (8) thereof, by inserting "develop such prescribed forms and to" immediately before "make", and by inserting immediately after "Act" the following: "and chapter 95 and chapter 96 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954"; 26 USC 9001, (2) in paragraph (9) thereof, by striking out "and sections 9031. 608 and all that, follows through "States Code;" and inserting in lieu thereof "and chapter 95 and chapter 96 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954; and"; and (3) by striking out paragraph (10) and redesignating paragraph (11) as paragraph (10).
