SEC. 5. (a) Section 513 of the Housing Act of 1949 is amended by striking out "September 30, 1979" where it appears in clauses (b), (c), and (d) and inserting in lieu thereof "October 31, 1979". (b) Section 515 of such Act is amended by striking out "September 30, 1979" where it appears in paragraph (b)(5) and inserting in lieu thereof "October 31, 1979". (c) Section 517(a)(1) of such Act is amended by striking out "September 30, 1979" and inserting in lieu thereof "October 31, 1979". (d) Section 523(f) of such Act is amended— (1) by striking out "October 1, 1979" where it appears in paragraph (f) and inserting in lieu thereof "November 1, 1979"; and (2) by striking out "September 30, 1979" where it appears in such paragraph (f) and inserting in lieu thereof "October 31, 1979".
