To authorize a supplemental appropriation to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration for research and development.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That paragraph (1) National of subsection 1(a) of the National Aeronautics and Space Administra- Aeronautics and Space tion Authorization Act, 1979 (Public Law 95-401), is amended by Administration, striking out "$1,443,300,000" and inserting in lieu thereof appropriation authorization. "$1,628,300,000". 92 Stat. 857.
