National Ocean Pollution Research and Development and Monitoring Planning Act of 1978, amendment.

Name change. 33 USC 1701 note.

To amend the National Ocean Pollution Research and Development and Monitoring Planning Act of 1978 to authorize appropriations to carry out the provisions of such Act for fiscal years 1981 cuid 1982, and for other purposes.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That section 10 of the National Ocean Pollution Research and Development and Monitoring Planning Act of 1978, as amended (33 U.S.C. 1709), is (1) by striking out "and" after "1979,", and (2) by striking out "1980." and inserting in lieu thereof "1980, not to exceed $3,000,000 for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1981, and not to exceed $4,000,000 for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1982.". SEC. 2. Section 4(a) of the National Ocean Pollution Research and Development and Monitoring Planning Act of 1978 (33 U.S.C. 1703(a)) is amended by striking out "February immediately after "submitted by" and inserting in lieu thereof "September". SEC. 3. Section 1 of the National Ocean Pollution Research and Development and Monitoring Planning Act of 1978 is amended by striking out "Research and Development and Monitoring".
