Public Law 97-11 97th Congress An Act To ensure necessary funds for the implementation of the Federal Crop Insurance Act of 1980.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That section 516(a) federal Crop of the Federal Crop Insurance Act (7 U.S.C. 1516(a)) is amended by— i^eidmlnt (1) inserting "(1)" immediately after the subsection designation; and (2) adding a new paragraph (2) as follows: "(2) To ensure the timely implementation of the Federal Crop Insurance Act of 1980, the Corporation may use funds otherwise '^ USC 1501 note. available for the payment of indemnities to pay administrative and operating expenses of the Corporation incurred during the fiscal year ending September 30, 1981. However, the total amount of funds used by the Corporation under this paragraph shall not exceed $14,000,000.". Approved May 22, 1981.
