For payment to the Fishermen's Protective Fund, in accordance with section 5 of the Public Law 92-569 approved October 26, 1972, $8,300,000, to remain available until expended. FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION SALARIES AND EXPENSES (RESCISSION)

Of the funds appropriated for the Federal Trade Commission, "Salaries and expenses" in Public Law 96-536, $226,000 are rescinded. INTERNATIONAL COMMUNICATION AGENCY SALARIES AND EXPENSES (TRANSFER OF FUNDS)

For an additional amount for "Salaries and expenses", $350,000, to be derived by transfer from "Salaries and expenses (special foreign currency program)". SALARIES AND EXPENSES (SPECIAL FOREIGN CURRENCY PROGRAM) (DISAPPROVAL OF DEFERRAL)

Effective date.

The Congress disapproves $350,000 of the proposed deferral D81-75 relating to the International Communication Agency, "Salaries and expenses (special foreign currency program)" as set forth in the message of February 13, 1981, which was transmitted to the Congress by the President. This disapproval shall be effective upon enactment into law of this Act and the amount of the proposed deferral disapproved herein shall be made available for obligation. INFORMATIONAL MEDIA GUARANTEE FUND

The Secretary of the Treasury shall cancel all notes originally issued or assumed by the Director of the United States Information Agency for purposes of payments under Informational Media Guarantees, and sums owing and unpaid thereon, including interest to the time of cancellation.
