Authorizing the President to proclaim May 13, 1983, as "American Indian Day".

Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United American Indian States of America in Congress assembled, That the President of the °^^ United States is authorized and requested to issue a proclamation designating May 13, 1983, as "American Indian Day", and calUng upon the people of the United States to observe such day with appropriate ceremonies and activities. Approved January 12, 1983.
