ACQUISITION, CONSTRUCTION, AND IMPROVEMENTS, COAST GUARD For acquisition, construction, and improvements, not otherwise provided for; $300,000,000, to be transferred to the Coast Guard: "Acquisition, Construction, and Improvements", to remain available for obligation until September 30, 1986. PROCUREMENT, DEFENSE AGENCIES For expenses of activities and agencies of the Department of Defense (other than the military departments) necessary for pro- curement, production, and modification of equipment, supplies, materials, and spare parts therefor, not otherwise provided for; the purchase of not to exceed seven vehicles required for physical security of personnel notwithstanding price limitations applicable to passenger carrying vehicles but not to exceed $100,000 per vehicle and the purchase of not to exceed seven hundred and twenty-two passenger motor vehicles of which three hundred and ninety-three shall be for replacement only; expansion of public and private plants, equipment, and installation thereof in such plants, erection of structures, and acquisition of land for the foregoing purposes, and such lands and interests therein, may be acquired, and construction prosecuted thereon prior to approval of title as required by section 355, Revised Statutes, as amended; reserve plant and Government 40 USC 255. and contractor-owned equipment layaway; $942,657,000, to remain available for obligation until September 30, 1986.
