Surveys. acres, together with improvements thereon, located adjacent to the United States Army Reserve Center, San Jose. (2) If the fair market value (as determined by the Secretary) of the property to be conveyed by the United States to the District under subsection (a) exceeds the fair market value (as determined by the Secretary) of the property to be conveyed by the District to the United States under subsection (b), the District shall pay to the United States the amount of the difference. (c) The exact acreages and legal descriptions of the parcels to be conveyed under this section shall be determined by surveys which are satisfactory to the Secretary. The cost of any such survey shall be borne by the District. (d) The Secretary may require such additional terms and condi- tions in connection with the transaction authorized by this section as the Secretary considers appropriate to protect the interests of the United States.
