"(d)(1) The Secretary may assess a charge for any storage or disposal provided under this section. Any such charge shall be on a reimbursable cost basis. "(2) In the case of storage under this section authorized because of an imminent danger, the storage provided shall be temporary and shall cease once the imminent danger no longer exists. In all other cases of storage or disposal authorized under this section, the storage or disposal authorized shall be terminated as determined by the Secretary.". (b) The table of sections at the beginning of such chapter is amended by adding after the item relating to section 2691 (as added by section 804) the following new item: "2692. SEC. 806. (a) Section 2828(g) of title 10, United States Code, is amended by redesignating paragraph (8) as paragraph (9) and by inserting after paragraph (7) the following new paragraph (8): "(8) In addition to the contracts authorized by paragraph (7), the Secretary of the Army may enter into one contract under this subsection for not more than 600 family housing units at one location if the contract is necessary in order to provide sufficient family housing to accommodate a major restationing action by the Army.
