EFFECTIVE DATES

SEC. 803. (a) Except as provided in subsection (b), this Act and the amendments made by this Act shall take effect on the date of the enactment of this Act. (b)(1) The amendment made by section 206(a) shall take effect 60 days after the date of the enactment of this Act. (2) The amendment made by section 206(d) shall take effect on the first day of the first fiscal year beginnning after the date of the enactment of this Act. (3) The amendment made by section 411(b) shall not apply with respect to any grant or payment made before the date of the enactment of this Act. (4) The amendment made by section 701 shall take effect on October 1, 1984. Approved October 9, 1984.
