CREEDLESS SERVICE
'Twixt human hearts with kindred needsErect no barrier of creeds;Christ died for all and, like Him, weShould measure life with ministry.
Dare Sect presume to guide the knifeUpon a consecrated life?Shall service rendered only beBy hands of Partiality?
Nay, Lord, but let us, as the Christ,By priestly Love be sacrificed;Nor one ignore, though on his faceWe no familiar feature trace.
Then shall our words and deeds but veinThe life-blood of Man's Savior, slain; Then of Himself may all partakeThrough lives laid down for Jesus' sake.
