Template:Latest additions

This template creates a box with a short list of latest additions to a particular category.

It can be used as both an notice of recent localised activity and as a tool to help maintain portals and categories.

Usage

{{Latest additions}}

The template can also take an optional width parameter to alter the width of the template. (Default: 100%)

Note

This template uses the subpage name as the name of the category. If the page name is not exactly the same as a category name, this template will not work. It uses a Dynamic Page List, which cannot accept parameters. If necessary, the template may be substituted into a page with {{Subst:Latest additions}}. After saving, the {{SUBPAGENAME}} can be replaced manually in the page with the name of the appropriate category.
