Usage

Shows the date a number of years ago. Updates automatically from the current date. Useful for caluclating things like copyright cutoffs.

• 1 the number of years ago. This can be a number like "95" or an expression like "95+1".

Example

Works published before {{years ago|95}} are in the public domain in the US. This means {{years ago|95+1}} and earlier.

Works published before 1927 are in the public domain in the US. This means 1926 and earlier.
