45 ða hiȝ hyne ne fundon hiȝ ȝeƿendun to hierusalem hyne secende;

26 hu ne ȝebyrede criste þas þinȝ þoliȝean. and sƿa on his ƿuldor ȝan;

27 And he rehte him of moyse and of eallum haliȝum ȝeƿritum þe be him aƿritene ƿæron;

28 And hiȝ ȝenea læ hton þam castele þe hiȝ to ferdun and he dyde sƿylce he fyr faran ƿolde

29 and hiȝ nyddon hyne and cƿædon. ƿuna mid unc forþam þe hit æfenlæcð and se dæȝ ƿæs ahyld. and he ineode þæt he mid him ƿunude;

30 and þa he mid him sæt he onfenȝ hlaf and hine bletsude and bræc and him ræhte;

31 þa ƿurdon hyra eaȝan ȝeopenude and hiȝ ȝecneoƿon hine and he ȝeƿat fram him.

32 And hiȝ cƿædon him betƿynan næs uncer heorte byrnende þa he on ƿeȝe ƿið unc spæc. and unc haliȝe ȝeƿritu ontynde;

33 And hiȝ arison on þære ylcan tide and ƿendon to hierusalem and ȝemetton endlufan ȝeȝaderude and þa ðe mid him ƿæron:

34 and cƿædun þæt drihten soðlice aras and simone ætyƿde;

35 And hiȝ rehton þa þinȝ þa ðe on ƿeȝe ȝeƿordene ƿæron: and hu hiȝ hine oncneoƿun on hlafes brice;

36 Soðlice þa hiȝ þis spræcon se hælend stod on hyra midlene. and sæde him. sib sy eoƿ ic hit eom ne ondræde ȝe eoƿ;

37 þa ƿæron hiȝ ȝedrefede and afærede and hiȝ ƿendon þæt hiȝ ȝast ȝesaƿon;

38 And he sæde him hƿi synt ȝe ȝedrefede and ȝeþancas on eoƿre heortan astiȝað;

39 Ȝeseoð mine handa and mine fet þæt ic sylf hit eom. ȝrapiað. and ȝeseoð þæt ȝast næfþ flæsc and ban. sƿa ȝe ȝeseoð me habban;

40 And þa he þis sæde he æteoƿde him fet and handa;

41 þa cƿæð he to him þa hiȝ þa ȝyt ne ȝelyfdon and for ȝefean ƿundredon; Hæbbe ȝe her æniȝ þinȝ to etenne

42 and hiȝ brohton him dæl ȝebræddes fisces and beobread;

43 And þa he æt beforan him he nam þa lafa and him sealde

44 and cƿæð to him; þis synt þa ƿord þe ic spæc to eoƿ þa ic ƿæs þa ȝyt mid eoƿ forþam þe hit is neod þæt beon ealle þinȝ ȝefyllede þe be me aƿritene synt on moyses æ. and on ƿiteȝum and on sealmum be me;

45 þa atynde he him andȝyt þæt hiȝ onȝeton haliȝe ȝeƿritu

46 and he cƿæð to him þæt ðus is aƿriten and þus ȝebyrede crist þolian: and þy ðriddan dæȝe of deaðum arisan

47 and beon bodud on his naman dædbote and synna forȝyfenesse on ealle þeoda: aȝynnendum fram hierusalem;

48 Soðlice ȝe synt þinȝa ȝeƿitan

49 and ic sende on eoƿ mines fæder behat; Sitte ȝe on ceastre oð ȝe syn ufene ȝescrydde;

50 Soðlice he ȝelædde hiȝ ut on beþaniam and he bletsode hiȝ his handum up ahafenum.

51 and hit ƿæs ȝeƿorden þa he bletsude hiȝ. he ferde fram him and ƿæs fered on heofen.

52 and hiȝ ȝebiddende hiȝ ȝehƿurfon on hierusalem mid mycelum ȝefean.

53 and hiȝ ƿæron symle on þam temple ȝod herȝende and hyne eac bletsiȝende. AMEN.
