Eardley-Wilmot, Major-General Revell, C.B., (1896), Indian Army (retired); 2nd s. of late Sir John Eardley Eardley-Wilmot, 2nd Baronet of Berkswellball; b. 1842; educ, Winchester College; joined the Indian Army, 1860; Brevet Lt-Col, 1881; Major-General, 1895; Bhutan Expedition, 1864-66 (wounded; despatches, medal with clasp); A.D.C, in the Jowaki Expedition (despatches, clasp); Afghan War of 1878-79, and 80 (despatches, medal, three clasps, Brevet Lt.-Col); A.A.G. Meerut Division; is in receipt of distingished service pension. Address: Colchester. Club: Cavalry.
