Marsh of Tanjore; m. e.d. of the Raja of Udaipur, in Chota Nagpur, 1863; has a son and heir, Sri Ramachandra Deo; b. 1893; took charge of Estate, 1895; made Maharajah, 1896: maintains beds in the Madras Gosha Hospital and has contributed largely to charitable purposes; offered a seat on the Madras Legislative Council by Sir Arthur Lawley as representative of the Northern Zamindars of Madras, which he declined, 1910.
