Obawulla Khan, Nawabzada Hafiz Muhammad Bahadur, C.S.I. (1912), Colonel-in-Chief, Victoria Imperial Service Lancers, Bhopal, (retired); s. of the Begum of Bhopal; b. 1878; educ: Privately; has learnt Koran by heart; m. (1902); three sons and one daughter; joined the Bhopal Victoria Imperial Service Lancers, 1914; became Commander-in-chief of the Forces, 1915; A.D.C. to Viceroy, 1916; Captain in the British Army, 1908; accompanied H.H. The Begum of Bhopal to Mecca and successfully repulsed a party of Beduin Arabs who attacked the Begum and her party; travelled all over Europe and attended the Coronations of 1903 and 1911; promoted to the rank of Major, 1911; is a Trustee of the M.A.O.
