The Pains of Sleep is a poem by Samuel Taylor Coleridge, originally written in 1803 at the end of his aborted tour of Scotland with the Wordsworths. It was first published in 1816 as part of a short pamphlet in which it accompanied Christabel and Kubla Khan, both also published for the first time.
