Literal English Translation Original Latin Line

Furius, your little house is not set/mortgaged
against the blowing of the South wind nor the West
nor the raging North or the East,
but truly against fifteen thousand and two hundred [sesterces].
What a horrible and pestilent wind!

Fūrī, vīllula vestra nōn ad Austrī
flātūs opposita est neque ad Favōnī
nec saevī Boreae aut Aphēliōtae,
vērum ad mīlia quīndecim et ducentōs.
Ō ventum horribilem atque pestilentem!
