Immigration Act (No. 2)

B.E. 2523


Given on the 18th of August, 2523.;

Being the 35th year of the Present Reign.

Section 1 This Act shall be called 'Immigration Act (No. 2) B.E. 2523'.

Section 2 This Act shall come into force from the day following the date of publication in the Government Gazette.

Section 3 The following provision shall be added as paragraph 3 (1) of Section 12 of the Immigration Act 2522.

'The visa under subsection (1) shall pay the fee prescribed in the regulations.'

Section 4 Cancel the fees , the charges and expenses to the other end of the Immigration Act 2522 and use the following instead.


(1) A visa under Section 12 (1).
Not exceeding 500 baht

(2) An appeal under Section 22.
No more than 500 baht

(3) A request for permission to stay in Britain temporarily.
According to Article 35, one not exceeding 500 baht. (4) An appeal under Section 36.
No more than 500 baht

(5) The application for permission to return to the UK again.
For once, according to Article 39. Not exceeding 500 baht

(6) A request for permission to reside in the Kingdom.
Under Article 45 no more than 2,000 baht.

(7) Residence Certificate under Section 47 or Section 51.
Issue of up to 50,000 baht
If the request for a certificate of residence as a spouse.
Or underage children of aliens.
A resident in the Kingdom or a citizen of Thailand.
Issue of up to 25,000 baht

(8) Notification of evidence out of the Kingdom.
Go back to Section 50 (1).
No more than 500 baht

(9) Residence Certificate under Section 50 (2).
Issue of up to 5,000 baht each

(10) A document issued under Section 52.
Issue of up to 500 baht

(11) A request for verification to the employee.
Officer under Section 57.
No more than 200 baht

Note: The reason for the promulgation of this Act is the Immigration Act 2522 requires a visa, passport or document in lieu of passport but do not set a fee for a visa in the passport etc. In accordance with international practice, as it is currently the practice.
