Chap. CLXXXIV.An Act to authorize the Secretary of the Treasury to compromise the claim of the United States on the Farmers and Mechanics’ Bank of Indiana.

Claim to be compromised and settled.Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he hereby is, authorized to compromise, and finally settle the claim of the United States on the Farmers and Mechanics’s Bank of Indiana, on such terms as he may deem most conducive to the best interests of the United States.
