It is not a sock puppet but rather a legitimate alternative account, used to make repetitive automated or semi-automated edits that would be extremely tedious to do manually. This is a bot run by Jude, using the Pywikipedia framework, AutoWikiBrowser (customised to run on Wikisource), and the results of queries off the Toolserver. It currently makes repetitive changes that are required, but that would otherwise flood recent changes, and hence need to be hidden behind a bot flag.
