I noticed you were adding A Course in Miracles. Before you put much more work into it, I suggest you research the copyright involved. Being that it was published in 1976, unless there is an extraordinary situation it is a violation. If there is such a situation you should outline the reason it is not a copyright violation on the talk page, so it is not deleted.--BirgitteSB 10:59, 23 March 2006 (UTC)

I am somewhat familiar with the copyright situation of the ACIM material. Birgitte, you are correct that there are parts of it that are copyrighted. Other parts are not. The JCIM edition of it has been published and widely distributed by the Course In Miracles Society since approximately 2000. In the preface to this edition, it is listed as a "Public Domain Document". This status has not been legally challenged by anoyone in the years since the publication of this version. So long as Antireconciler only reproduces text from this "Public Domain" edition of the ACIM text (JCIM), I can see no copyright problems. I agree that the copyright issue is a potential problem that would probably be better to first fully address on the article page itself before this project progresses much further.

I'll do just that. Thank you for informing me of this. I was mistaken about FIP's actual contributions to Second Edition I was using. I won't continue with this project until I have a full grasp of the copyrights in place. Antireconciler 20:22, 23 March 2006 (UTC)

EB1911 classification

Wikiproject

If it is delisted as a project, that is fine. I would like to see the public domain version of ACIM be put on Wikisource ASAP, but I can't see myself coordinating a project. --Remi0o 23:12, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
