This work by Eddie Cantor, who died in 1964, was published in 1929, but its copyright was renewed on 20 November 1956, making it copyright protected in the U.S. until 2024, and in Canada till 2014. This work is from Karl Marx, whose works are clearly in the public domain. However, the English translation included (by me) in our project is from the Marx/Engels Collected Works (MECW) project, a publishing collaboration by various publishers copyrighted by International Publishers and Lawrence and Wishart. The MECW is composed of various works and translations, which some may or may not be copyrighted. The source of this work, the Marxist Internet Archives, states that, quote: "The full text of Marx’s speech was first published in English in The General Council of the First International 1868-1870, Moscow, 1966." After I noted the situation, and since no other copyright info is provided, I believe the work should be deleted for unknown copyright status, unless definitive information is obtained.
