Help edit

I shall be very glad is people would check that I have handled the codes correctly, as I am not very good at it. Apwoolrich 19:23, 29 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

Error in script? edit

I was reading this help file and looks like the coding for the automatic script updates is a bit off.

/* </pre>[[Category:Bots/Script files to update]] */

What is that </pre> doing there? It looks a bit misplaced. I think this should just be

/* [[Category:Bots/Script files to update]] */

If anyone replies, if would be appreciated if you could tell me on my Wikipedia talk page.

Own documenation page? edit

@AuFCL: I reckon typoscript could probably have it's own page, and just a summary on this page — to take up less space here, I mean. What do you think? Sam Wilson 05:12, 8 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Introducing Toolhub edit

What does your participation on the Wikimedia projects look like? Do you edit articles? Upload files? Patrol vandalism? Translate articles? Translate interface messages? Do you organize people, online or offline? Do you train new editors, or new trainers? Do you write code?

There are many different ways to contribute to Wikimedia – more than you would expect just from reading Wikipedia articles. Over the past several years, volunteers have developed technical tools that help Wikimedians improve content, patrol vandalism, and perform many other tasks. They make it possible to do what the wiki software alone cannot accomplish. Without these tools, many of our projects would slow down to a crawl.

I am very happy to announce a new project called Toolhub which seeks to create a searchable index of these tools in all languages. We are building this tool catalog based on what our communities need. If you would like to help, please take a look at m:Toolhub and review the question at the top of the page. You can also leave feedback in any language on the talkpage. You can also email me private feedback. Harej (WMF) (talk) 00:22, 3 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
