Hi all, I'm new to SLQ's Pitch In project. I think the project is awesome and I'm excited to get started! For starters, I was looking at: Page:Maurice_George_DelPratt_correspondence_-_12_October_1915_-_2811514v000r001.jpg&action=edit&redlink=1, and couldn't see the scan of the letter on the right-hand side. How can we upload the jpeg image to the page?

I've started setting up Index:Maurice George Delpratt Correspondence. There are many more one or two page letters in hdl.handle.net/10462/deriv/188172 . Any suggestions on file naming conventions?

Part of that collection is an offical guideline (commons:File:Prisoners_of_War_Interned_Abroad,_Notice_as_to_Means_of_Communication) which I could package as a djvu and provide OCR. Do we still have an OCR bot that works on individual images? John Vandenberg (chat) 13:25, 9 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Are we sure that Page:Letter from Maurice George Delpratt to Nell 2 - December 1918 - p2.jpeg is actually the second page? The first page seems to be the envelope and addressing information, and then the second begins mid-sentence. Lankiveil (talk) 11:03, 20 July 2013 (UTC).Reply

Australian enquiry book of household and general information edit

Hi I've been working on the Australian enquiry book of household and general information and am not sure if I am doing it correctly? Once I have saved the pages they turn yellow as proofread - is then up to another user to come along and finalise them? Still learning all this but great fun! Learning lots about cooking from the 'old' days! Jo Horner

Our goal is to have all pages proofread by two sets of eyes. So, one person turns the pages yellow and the second turns them green. Glad you're having fun. Beeswaxcandle (talk) 09:17, 27 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the feedback. Really useful Jo Horner (talk) 09:15, 29 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
