215 Ch'ên Ching-yün 陳景雲 (T. 少章). A widely-read historical critic, who flourished under the reign of K'ang Hsi, A.D. 1662—1723. He failed to take his degree, and lived the life of a recluse. He wrote numerous critical works on history; among others, the 紀元要累, a manual for historical readers, giving concise histories of reigns from the Han to the end of the Ming dynasty.
