Author page "with no license information" edit

The "Christopher Kasparek" author page carries the template:

{{no license}}

What does this mean?

Kasparek's Wikisource translations have their individual copyright notices. What sort of "license information" is required on an author page? Nihil novi (talk) 17:57, 25 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

The "no license" tag is inapplicable to the "Author:Christopher Kasparek" page, because all the works listed there are Kasparek's translations of original works by Ignacy Krasicki (1735-1801), Bolesław Prus (1847-1912) or the authors of the Constitution of May 3, 1791 (whose last-surviving co-author, Scipione Piattoli, died in 1826)--original works that are all in the public domain--and each translation by Kasparek bears a "GNU Free Documentation License" notice. I have, accordingly, removed the "no license" tag from the page. Nihil novi (talk) 20:55, 31 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
All author pages need some licence to describe why the works are in the public domain. Added {{GFDL}} to the page. — billinghurst sDrewth 22:38, 31 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
