WP article indicates born c.1838. There is birth at that time, though not a lot of evidence to support that she was assisting Mercier, 1871 census would indicate a female not likely to have been highly educated, especially with regard to translations. Billinghurst (talk) 05:35, 20 March 2011 (UTC)
